On July 24, 2026, the ADRA Foundation organized a meaningful Career Guidance & Support Session at Ramakrishna Vidyalayam, providing students with valuable insights and practical guidance to help them navigate their future career paths.

The session featured Eric Winston, Country General Manager at Protech Devices, as the Guest Speaker. Drawing from his professional experience and knowledge, Eric shared valuable perspectives on career planning, personal development, goal setting, and the importance of making informed decisions. His insights encouraged students to think beyond their immediate choices and approach their futures with greater clarity, confidence, and purpose.

“True value lies not in receiving, but in sharing.”  This belief reflects the importance of extending a helping hand to those who need it most. With the aim of bringing relief, support, and hope to families facing difficulties, a dry food parcel distribution programme was organized at the Bloemendhal Police Station. The initiative focused on providing essential food items to families in need while reminding us of the importance of compassion and generosity within our communities.

The distribution programme was more than simply providing dry food parcels; it was an opportunity to show care and solidarity towards families experiencing challenging circumstances. Initiatives such as these demonstrate how coming together to support others can bring comfort and hope to those who need it. Every contribution, regardless of its size, can create a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families.

Every step taken to do good for society contributes towards building a stronger, kinder, and more compassionate community. By sharing what we can and extending support to those around us, we can create a culture where kindness and social responsibility continue to grow. The dry food parcel distribution at the Bloemendhal Police Station stands as a reminder that when we choose to share and care, we can make a positive difference in the lives of others.

Today, our team had the joy of spreading kindness and happiness through our annual Ice Cream Dansala, held in celebration of Vesak. It was heartwarming to see so many smiling faces as we served free ice cream to the community.

This simple gesture is part of our ongoing commitment to share goodwill and give back to those around us. Thank you to everyone who joined us today and to our incredible team who made it all possible!

We also organized a blood donation campaign at the hospital premises on the same day, which took place from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

Employees who were interested in participating were encouraged to register with the HR Department by 30th May 2025, allowing for smooth coordination with the hospital’s Blood Bank. The initiative saw a meaningful turnout and highlighted our team’s commitment to giving back to the community.

On Friday, 06th June 2025, our team visited Apeksha Hospital, Maharagama (National Cancer Hospital) to carry out a meaningful outreach initiative.

As part of this effort, we donated a selection of high-value, life-saving medicines, carefully chosen to support critical patient care. In addition, we distributed packs of food and daily essentials to in-house patients in one of the hospital’s dedicated wards, with the aim of providing comfort and compassion during their treatment journey.
